The deadline has been extended for Trusts across England to submit information on seven day services. HiSLAC’s Directorate Level Questionnaire is designed to gather non-personalised information about specialist contractual commitments to weekday and weekend service provision.

The HiSLAC project team were invited to exhibit at the NHS Improving Quality, delivering services, seven days a week event in London. Delegates were given an insight into the work of the early adopters from the Seven Day Services Improvement Programme.

The HiSLAC Project have undertaken a national staff-level Point Prevalence Survey (PPS) directed at consultants and associate specialists to determine the ‘dose’ of specialists providing direct clinical care during two 12 hour periods on a Sunday and a Wednesday in June.
