Great Response to HiSLAC National Survey
The third annual HiSLAC point prevalence survey closed this month with 13,647 responses (an estimated 40 per cent response rate).
The short anonymised questionnaire was sent to consultants and associate specialists across the country to help contribute to a nationwide ‘snapshot’ of specialist intensity and 7-day services.
This year, 112 acute NHS Trusts took part compared to 109 in 2015 and 115 in 2014.
All participating Trusts will be sent a summary of their data, and how they compared to other anonymised Trusts, in the autumn.
Data from the first survey was recently published in the Lancet.
